Bottle generously bonused from bvc. Nose is sweet chocolate and roasted hazelnut with just a touch of burnt cocoa nib. Flavor shows some surprising condensed milk sweetness and then the chocolate kicking in again. Really nice flavor combinations here. A light bitter finish that cleanses and a surprisingly creamy mouthfeel with the roastiness. Really enjoyed this one. Thanks, Brandon.

bottle at stumbling monk. chocolate is noted, palate is lightly creamy, and combined with a light woody aroma, gives it an oatmeal stout vibe.

Think I owe scrizzz thanks for this bottle. Poured a very dark brown/black with a four finger tan head. Aromas of milk chocolate and dark roast malt and light coffee. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is mostly smooth burnt malt with backing coffee and chocolate. A bit chalky. Finishes somewhat more bitter than not. It’s a really good stout, and deserves to rank in IS level of rating.

12 oz. received in a trade from BVC. Nice looking stout. Has a nice off-white head that sticks around for a bit of time and then eventually fades away to a small nice head. Black in color; very nice and opaque. Lovely sweet aroma with roast and coffee. Hint of vanilla sweetness. Has a nice aromatic aspect to it. Wow, a nice smooth chocolate flavor, with a nice roast background. Coffee is nice as well. Aroma becomes even more sweeter as the beer warms. Leaves some nice lacing. I wish it had more of an ABV kick to it, but still the taste is amazing.Beer could be a bit creamier (for me), but still this is a very nice beer that I unexpectedly received in a trade, and I couldn’t be happier.

Bottle thanks to Scrizz. Pours a reddish black with a big aroma of dark fruit and some cocoa, with a touch of vanilla. Taste is more of the same with a bit of coffee breaking through. Not a bad stout though the palate is a touch thin.

Bottle, pours blackish brown with a scant tan head. partly due to being too cold. Predominantly molasses and chocolate nose, but some coffee as well. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. The taste takes up the same theme as the aroma, but there a bunch of espresso and a touch of pine and citrus on the finish. I wasn’t expecting too much but this is pretty solid.
