rakkasan (55), Bresso, Italy Nov 7, 2009 I tried this beer out of curiosity, but i have to admit it’s not as bad as I expected. Pale yellow with white head, aroma is of corn and slightly sweet. Taste is somewhat boring, this is a good beer to drink while watching a game though.
Allen (1285), Switzerland Oct 7, 2009 Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of Bov. Pale yellow beer with a white head. Apple, grain, pale malt and wax in the nose. Sweet malty taste. Decent malt profile. Low bitterness. Medicore sweet malty finish. Not bad- better than expected. Thanks Bov! JorisPPattyn (5155), Antwerpen, Belgium Sep 29, 2009 Huge, dense, just yellow-tinted head, reasonably stable, over lemon-yellow to golden beer. Greenmalt, bit milkripe grain, garden herbs. Metallic-hoppy flavour, and dull grains behind. Dull, if not discreet, crude bitterness. Empty palate, bit of stickyness remaining in the throat. Where is this brewed? Waste of water. DruncanVeasey (2690), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England Aug 9, 2009 660ml bottle. Thin beaten gold, head fizzing out in minutes. Some light apple fruit, generic grass and potato, fizz and kolschy pale nuttiness, almost cask in the aroma, and almond as the head dies. Flying saucer, thin fizzy nothing, envelope adhesive and light industrial pear cider fruitiness. Corny and inoffensive, I could finish it but I’m not going to bother. KnutAlbert (3108), Oslo, Norway Jul 23, 2009 Canned and bottled in Sardinia.
Fairly light and standard lager that does the trick in the heat, not much of a body. A decent finish with some crisp hoppiness lifts it a bit. shrubber85 (2833), Wallhalben, Germany Jul 21, 2009 Bottle. Sweet barley malt aroma with metallic notes. Pale yellow color with moderate head. Very light sour barley malt flavor - inoffensive but not much there. leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jul 20, 2009 Bottle. Pale, dull gold with a thin foam. Aromas are grain with light sweet corn. Damp with some fruit. Flavours are sweet grain and soda water with some buttery notes. Slick on the palate and quite bloating. Beer2000 (1775), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 20, 2009 330ml bottle. Pale golden body with a diminishing white head. Weak aroma of grain and canned corn. Flavor is light, light malty with almost no bitterness. Short finish. It’s actually drinkable in the heat, but so is water.
