maeib (4012), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Jun 21, 2008 Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel, Northampton. An amber coloured headless beer. The aroma is slightly fruity but thin. The taste has lots of fruity berries. In places a bit like strawberry syrup. Odd but palatable. Pub (4125), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England May 18, 2008 Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Red Amber with white head. Good looking beer but thats about it, malty, dull, fruity sweet, bready and really quite lifeless in character. Nothing wrong in how it was kept, just not well brewed. Less than average. Magic_dave6 (4012), London, Greater London, England Aug 17, 2007 The state bar and 3 judges. A strange food like aroma, apple pie, biscuity malt. Taste is up front caramel, hints of green apple sweetness, not very complex but easily drinkable.
