A darkish brown coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fruity but not too fresh or pleasant. A much better taste. Malty and hints of coffee. A nice beer to drink with a peg on your nose. motelpogo (4124), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 26, 2007 on cask at 3 judges, glasgow. amber, lingering thin head. aroma of peat and licorice, firm, some brown sugar and lime rind tartness, a bit of a mess, really Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 19, 2007 Cask. Dark amber coloured. A fine lasting white head covers it. Lasting toasty, almost roasty, nutty, bready and really tasty mix. Mellow underlying fruits under the forms of cherries and blackberries come in the middle and hunt the leafy bitterness. A remarkable bitter with lots of stuff happening at once.
