III Dachshunds Howling Hounds Honey Wheat

On draught at the City Lounge in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Pours a sedmi-hazy golden blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissolves to a white ring. Aroma is very faint with some light multi-grain and wheat malt, somecitrus zest and a touch of sweet honey. Taste is light bodied, very low carbonation, smooth with a light bready flavor. Finish is sllightly sweet, smooth with a sweet Hawaiian bread aftertaste. One of the sweeter wheat brews I’ve tried.

Hazy straw color with a diminished white head. Light citrus flavors and aromas. Lacks the wheat and malt backdrop and sweetness. Seems like a cross between a berliner weisse and an american wheat. A quenching light berliner. Might be more interesting with woodruff or raspberry syrup.
