Bart (1401), Vosselaar, Belgium Jul 6, 2008 Hazy darker yellow coloured beer with a small white head and little carbonation. Yeasty creamy light herby aroma with some light alcoholic touches. Full palate. Finish is bitter yeasty, strong and long alcoholic ending. Not bad. sayravai (3186), Helsinki, Finland Jul 21, 2007 Updated: Jul 28, 2007(Bottled, 10% ABV, "Ijzerbier, brewed for Drankencentrale Vandeputte Hans, Beerst") Hazy golden-amber with a medium, quite firm head. Mildly honey-sweetish aroma with a hint of acidity and yeast (when poured in). Later on, even a sourish vinegar hint. Pretty acidic flavor with some fruitiness, but mostly alcohol burn. Yeast doesn’t take away the alcohol, but emphasizes the fruitiness a bit, and adds some tartness. Medium-bodied, slightly burning palate with medium carbonation. A decently drinkable, but straightforward and a bit too alcoholic tripel.
