Slightly hazy red amber with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with some molasses, and a hint of banana. Sweet and fruity flavour with some alcohol, herbal notes and some licorice

From the Bottle at Chris O’s 05/08/2009 Fruity and slightly spicy aroma. Amber coloured very strong in alcohol and a little hazy in appearance. A little bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

A Mes rate. Bottle at GBBF.
Chestnut brown with a faint off white collar. Raw alcohol and tippex thinner. Faint spice and chewy fruit but it’s just all killed to death by the raw booze. Not good.

At GBBF 2009. Cloudy dark brown colour, beige head. Way too strong, a bit all over the place. Better when it had opened up a bit but still not great. Spicy finish

Bottle 375ml.
Unclear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, old, sugar, spicy, wood, light to moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20090805]

Bottle from GBBF 09. Hazy burgundy with a creamy tan head. Raisins and citrus aroma. Citrussy and raisins flavours, still very dry, somewhat alcoholic, though. Quite delicious, actually.

Bottled GBBF 09. A dark chestnut coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma has fruity fizz and fruity hop. Hop, coffee and malt in the mouth with more fruit and a bit of funk. Some berry, some wood and some chocolate. Needs more ooomph for its body, but it is, as I find common in Italian beers, a bit too convoluted for its own good.
