Fruity and slightly spicy aroma. Amber coloured very strong in alcohol and a little hazy in appearance. A little bitterness in a crisp malt finish. MesandSim (5933), London, Greater London, England

Raw alcohol and tippex thinner. Faint spice and chewy fruit but it’s just all killed to death by the raw booze. Not good. harrisoni (6828), Ashford, Kent, England

Better when it had opened up a bit but still not great. Spicy finish fonefan (11800), VestJylland, Denmark

Citrussy and raisins flavours, still very dry, somewhat alcoholic, though. Quite delicious, actually. maeib (4745), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Bottled GBBF 09. A dark chestnut coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma has fruity fizz and fruity hop. Hop, coffee and malt in the mouth with more fruit and a bit of funk. Some berry, some wood and some chocolate. Needs more ooomph for its body, but it is, as I find common in Italian beers, a bit too convoluted for its own good.
