On tap at Ogrodzieniec Castle in Podzamcze, rated with my beerfriend ’Chmurarz’, transparent pet cup, half pint x2.
Appearance: Pours intense dark reddish brown body with surprising shades of deep dark purple hue. Carbonation of the body is natural in its origin and lively contributing to a frothy, unstable but not completely disappearing, off white, yellowish brown, conatrasting with the body colour head. There is decent lacing. Really made a great impression on me.
Aroma: Inviting notes of rye bread, fresh and strait from the bakery combined with mellow creamyness and woody notes. Gentle cola - like sweetness with notes of vanilla chockolate. Nice complexity for a Kvass style.
Flavour: Front is sweet, cola - like but well balanced, surprisingly positively not too sweet, lively carbonated on palate and refreshing. Rye bread, vanilla chockolate and contrasting notes of lemon to round the taste. Finish duration is medium. Reminding a bit a natural, non - comercial home brewed Kvass. Good job.
Palate: Body is light to medium, texture is rather wattery but with considerable sugary accent, finish feel is a kind of neutral, slightly aromatic, spicy like. The best Kvass I had so far.

Reddish, fizzy, pleasant tight head. Rye-bready and buttery. Made from extracts, not fermented, so not really rateable as a beer, IMHO. A little fizzy, unsurprisingly. Refreshing Russian-style kvass. TBone (6803), Pori, Finland

This is Russian low alcohol style "kvass". Dark ruby brown with small vanishing off-white head. Nice aroma of rye bread and chocolate. Very sweet sugary, rye bread tones. Propably good with food, hard to rate as a beer. Somehow with flat carbonation this is like t Smisje BBBourgondier :)
