Commercial Description:
(Translated from Portuguese):
Launched on the Portuguese marked in 1942 as a luxury beer brand, the Imperial logo would grow to be the generic designation in its market, namely, the South, for a draft beer. SCC decided to start producing again a beer with the Imperial mark, continuously, from May 1995, when they decided to introduce a new brand to the market, lighter and directed to the youth, whose advertising reflects the joy and the irreverence of this age part of the consumer base.

12 oz bottle. This label just reminds me of something out of a cartoon...maybe Rocko’s Modern Life....ha. Anyway, poured a yellow crystal clear body, the aroma was skunky as all hell, and the taste was....

I picked up a bottle for less than a buck @ Total Wine Cherry Hill. Not only was the beer a pale yellow but the bottle was a even a lighter shade of brown. Beer itself was a weak corn/rice/grain with a vegatable/cabbage aroma and skunky bitter flavor. I did like the stick people partying on the label. I believe this is my first Portuguese beer, that made its way to me via Newark, NJ. Could this be the a Portuguese beach beer?
