shrubber85 (2506), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany May 5, 2007 Tap at brewery. Light cherry malt aroma. Medium yellow color with small head. Sweet light berry malt flavor - well blended. They really have nailed the style - very similar to it’s Cologne counterparts. TheBeerLover (1013), DC Metro Area, USA Apr 11, 2007 Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Philadelphia, PA. Pours to a bright, pale golden color, with a tall white head, and a good carbonation. The nose on this light, with faint, pale malt aroma, paired with light fruity notes. The palate is lean, with some pale malt flavor, and hints of light fruit, on a very clean body. This beer finishes with light pale malt up front, then ends with a sliight herbal hop bitterness. I like this beer, because it is a good example of the style, is a very drinkable, one that is food friendly, and a nice session beer. I would enjoy knocking back a few pints of this one at the bar. Prcaus (159), New Jersey, USA Mar 1, 2007 Tap/Growler from Independence Pub in Philly PA. Not a lot of aroma, Golden light coloring as is expected, not bad flavoring. Somewhat watery, no where near as drinkable as their IPA hopdog (4567), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 18, 2007 On tap at the Independence Brew Pub. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of some graininess and light honey sweetness. Light lemons in the tasets as well. Thin body.
