On nitro. Poured a dark, dark brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, some lactose and I was getting a light smokiness as I drank more. Tastes of oats, chocolate, light roast and caramel. motelpogo (4395), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 29, 2004 Nitro at the brewpub. Poured opaque black with a tight tan, creamy, head and nice lacing on the glass. Sweet chocolate, roasty, and marshmellow aroma. Roasted and toasted oats, sweet chocolate and anise in the taste. Mouthfeel was milky and creamy with very light carbonation. By far the highlight that this brewpub had to offer last night. Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
