Ole_R (1297), Oslo, Norway Jul 17, 2008 500 ml bottle shared by yngwie. Thin offwhite head. Slightly hazed, golden brown colored body. Initial aroma of caramellish malts, after a while, some barely noticable fruity and light hoppy notes. Light sourish malts in the flavor, with a tone of roast and burnt caramel leading to an almost astringent bitterness. A little fruity acidity undernesth. Light body. Long bitterish finish. Drinkable, but a bit anonymous.

Hazy brown, low carbonation.
Round, malty body, a little thin, perhaps. Splendid use of hops, late summer flowers, dusty. Dr_Funk (80), Sorumsand, Norway Aug 7, 2008 Bottle, courtesy of Vea. Pours amber with small offwhite head. Old espressopod aromas with faint hops. Very strange... Smoky flavor with earthy finish. Very weird. not in a positive way yngwie (3602), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 30, 2008 Bottle. (#819) A copper colored, slightly hazy beer with a small, beige head. Burnt, coffee-grit aroma with a fruityness, some caramel and a tiny note of chocolate. Nice fruity bitterness in the flavor, and also slightly burnt maltyness. Touch of sourness too. Long bitter finish. An almost astringent, burnt and dry thin mouthfeel. Didn’t suspect the burnt aromas and flavors, but they didn’t hurt at all. What I didn’t like, was the little sourness in the beer. A quite decent beer. (080708) larsga (2314), Oslo, Norway Jul 9, 2008 Smallish beige coarseish head. Hazy amber body. Roasty wooden watery aroma with unclean grainy notes. Dry faintly acidic roasty grainy taste with some background sweetness. Fruity bubblegum notes. Dry, a bit astringent, roasty grainy aftertaste lasts for a long time. Half-decent. (0.5l bottle from yngwie. Batch #818.)
