Draught at the brewpub Looks like a pale lager, gold body and a short head, low carbonation. Smokey bacon notes seem to arrive late in the taste but once noticed that is all you seem to get.

From notes alone. Tried this at the brewery, on draught, October this year.
’Palest gold, not much action carb-wise; head a thin, flaccid layer of last suds that do show good legs. Subtle nose - cured meats, ash and fish fryer oil (well-used)?. Very spicy is the palate, flavour is subdued, some smoked pork-belly and pan-fried chorizo with a hint of clean of peppery hops in late. The smoked, meat flavour lingers in loosely for just a second. The palate very clean, very light with a crisp speedy finish. A little simmered herbs reach into the olfactories as it warms. Though subtle it hits the spot. No nastiness here. Decent and reserved easy-drinker.’
