Poured a cloudy straw/white, with reasonable head retention, Nose was of rotting wheat, Flavour was slightly acrid with lashings of raw wheat.
Not nice at all. swivelguru (8), Gurumonpolis, Australia does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 8, 2006 This Witbier had a massive elegant coriander aroma on the nose, which translated into a drinkable belgium white with the mandarins on a secondary after taste. It was great to drink on the sunny day! ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia

Sadly the second and last beer I got to try for the day. New found anticipation and support for the micro’s in Perth, against the big two, has seen this brewhouse sell out of the other two beers, so another visit on my part is needed. After a Pale ale that was every inch a pale ale I desired I moved onto the Witbier. Crowd pleasing at its best I have never understood the desire for breweries to pump these ’Witbiers’ out other than the high turnover of kegs$$$. This wasn’t that bad a drop though. In a tall flute, it was a cloudy, pastel yellow in body with a creamy, white, ¼" pad that retained well and left good legs. Zesty, fresh squeezed lemon aroma with a decent backing of clove-like phenols. Fresh, lively lemons in the mouth too with a blend of lemon and orange peel, a touch of mango juice and some whole cloves. Body is extremely light and well charged making it bounce across the palate at lightning speed. Sour wheat malt in the finish, tangy, zesty and very fresh. It was simple and pleasing. Held about as much ground as judging a macro-lager, but atleast this tasted of effort. Refreshing, clean and perfect for Summer Sundays. bluevegie (2201), Perth, Australia

Head poor, some lemon on the nose, zesty in the taste.
