A nice "bridging" beer for those new to hoppy beers. Would drink again. alexanderj (2270), Chino Hills, California, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | May 28, 2008 Bottle courtesy of a birthday present; pours a clear copper color with a short lasting white head. Aroma of toasted malt, fruit, flowers and some earthy elements. Pretty sweet aroma. Flavor was a bit strange at the beginning. Some grape-fruit weirdness. Not much hopping, if at all. Other caramel flavors and bread. An ok example of the style. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA

12oz bottle pours near copper with off white head. The aroma has some nice maltiness, roasted malts and some caramelized sweetness. I’m not really picking up any hops. The taste is caramel, crystal and mildly roasty malts but pretty thin and weak overall. I get almost no sense of hoppiness in there that makes me question whether or not they were ever added to the boil. fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA
