| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | Apr 25, 2008 Pour is a copper with a small white head. Aroma is nothing. Flavor is nothing. This is not an alt and if it is this is the worst one i have ever had. Never again with this brewer. agillespie81 (203), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 5/5 | 10/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Light copper color......fluffy head, though it fades a little fast. Slightly bitter aroma. Somewhat malty front......smooth mouthfeel for the style. Bitter back with a dry, clean finish. popephred (193), Plainfield, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 22, 2008 From Beer of the Month Club: Poured from a chilled bottle into a pint glass. Pour produced a clear golden amber body with a quickly diminishing white head. I picked up some chocolate notes in this beer’s aroma, along with malt. Actually, the nose on this is a little off, though I can’t quite pick up on it (skunky?). The body is watery, not as medium as the commercial description states. Slight acidic sweetness, though not much else. I think that this would go well with full-flavored foods, as it doesn’t really stand on it’s own. I have two more of these from the BOTM, perhaps my second opinion will change this rating. posikyle (165), Alabama, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Eh, not so bad. Pours a deep amber color with a nice aroma that has a hint of malts. Thin, quckly dissipating head. Taste is of malts with a hint of alcohol bite in the end. Nothing really special here. Seems like they really just tried to play it safe and make a non-offensive beer. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Apr 21, 2008 12oz from a beer club. Second beer from this brewery, second time thoroughly unimpressed. Appearance and palate aren’t offensive, but really, how is this an alt? It’s basically a fairly watery amber, with a heavy dose of grassy hops to give it a bit of character. A beer to foist upon your BMC drinking friends when they’re over to watch the game. checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 18, 2008 Bottle from beer club: Poured an clear yellow/orange color with not much head. The aroma was almost nonexistent. The flavor was light and refreshing with a small amount of hops and sweetness to finish. Overall, a decent beer but not a great beer. jcwattsrugger (5532), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 8, 2005 Bottle. Not sure if they are brewing this again or they found some in a warehouse somewhere. Copper color with a thin dissipating off white head. Mild dark caramel and touch of herbal hops aromas. Fairly clean dry toasted malt flavors. Hints of spice late in the quaff. Seemed better a few years ago, but maybe the memories were just better.
