Jul 3, 2008 12oz bottle acquired in trade with daknole (thanks!). Poured a deeper and cloudy golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of honey and tart berries. Tastes of caramel, honey, and sweet berries.

Jun 23, 2008 bottle. Slightly hazy amber color with an off white head. Sweet smell of caramel malt and honey. Flavor is light and dominated by honey with some mild fruit accents. Almost no bitterness to speak of, just the faintest flowery taste. Has a prickly carbonation and a light/medium mouthfeel. Needs more of a floral bitterness to balance the sweetness, but not bad otherwise.

Aroma – Light malt aroma with some honey lingering.
Appearance – Very light amber in color, slight haze with a light head.
Flavor – Light malt and honey flavor.
Palate – Decent Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – A nice beer this beer did not hit the mark. The rose hips where so light it was a disappointment. Was hoping for ore flavor. Too Mellow.

Jan 28, 2008 Pours honey color with no head, no lace. Asian fruit drink smell: slight berry-lychee sorbet. Carbonated too heavily. Refreshing hibiscus flavors, and some iced tea notes. Interesting, just not real good.

Jan 27, 2008 The aroma is of honey... it smells great!! Nice color but very cloudy. Bottom of glass had some sediment.. not sure what that is. Taste is wonderful- honey, rose, and malt flavors. Nice and sweet. Smooth on the palate- very small head, gets better as it warms up.

Sep 30, 2007 A dark amber color, a little cloudy,very thin head with a sweet smell while pouring. The taste was sweet with a hint of the honey, it also was a little sharp not very lasting though. I would drink this again on a hot summer day maybe. It was light and a refreshing beer.

Jul 20, 2007 Interesting. Sweet and slightly tart, with a candyish honey caramel presence. The rose hips provide a mild herbalness that I’ve encountered before in similarly flavored candies. A bit sticky, even though there’s a soft carbonation. Orangey amber color, smallish head.
