Aroma and flavor are just as described, honey and roses with a slight malt backbone. Strange brew. Unlike anything I’ve ever tried. Has a very sour finish. Feels very artificial. This is a pretty lousy beer, in all honesty. yayforbeer (648), Orange Park, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 18, 2007 12.oz bottle. Honey aroma with a faint whiff of rose hips. The only other time I have had rose hips in anything was in Vitamin C tablets, and this is certainly preferable. The flavor is mild amber lager with a good dose of honey, and that faint whiff of rose hips. It’s an interesting combination, if somewhat strange. A drinkable brew, but nothing much better than average. I mostly picked this up because it is one of the few Florida beers that I have been able to find. Not too bad in the universe of Florida beers. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Pours a deep gold with flimsy weak head. The aroma has vague malt sweetness as well as some sort of herbal quality and a bit of honey. The taste is much like the aroma with hints of malt sweetness, honey and something very herb-ish. Interesting flavored beer. desurfer (1068), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 25, 2006 Light orange with no head. Not much aroma. Fruity flavor with notes of honey. I don’t know what rose tastes like. It’s not horrible, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Suttree (2743), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 19, 2006 Clearish orange, with a beige head. Faintly honeyish, faintly rose-ish aroma. Flavor is, well, honeyish and rose-ish. No flaws, but seems kinda gimmicky. Fantomas23 (463), Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 13, 2006 I talked my wife into ordering this one. Just couldn’t bring myself to order a beer that has "rose" in the name. She obliged and let me have a swallow or two, which was more than plenty. Yes, you can smell and taste both honey and rose in this beer. Otherwise, it is just another lager. PorterPounder (3148), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 13, 2006 Updated: Jun 14, 2006New Leaf Market, Tallahassee, Fl. - 12 oz bottle. Light copper-dark golden, thin light white head. Muttled aroma, some cake mix, stale bubblegum, hint of wet metal. Flavor has some brief caramel notes, some more of that wet metal taste, day old bread and a hint of yeast and finishes with a vegetable-like flurry. Mouthfeel is slightly thickish and sticky. This one is not sure where it wants to go. mkobes (2104), paramus, New Jersey, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/20 | May 28, 2006 Bottle. Orange and red in color with no head. Honey sweet aroma. Sweet flavor. Honey and rosehip notes. Too much honey here. Not much to say here. Ok.
