FROTHINGSLOSH (1512), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 10, 2008 This one came in my beer club. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a large orange-white head. The aroma was faint fruity and piney hops. The flavor was sour, nutty and earthy with faint tart and fruity hops and a sour nutty finish. Indistinct. JustinFromAL (68), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Jun 26, 2008 BoTM, Pours copper with a frothy off-white head. Nose was bright and malty. Not as hoppy as I expected, very mellow. Some fruit flavor that i can’t identify. Not a bad beer, a good intro for those not crazy about pale ale’s. alexanderj (1346), San Diego, California, USA May 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy of a gift from Colorado; copper in color with not much head. Aroma was light and malty; flavor was much of the same. Sweet and bready. Not much hopping; tasted a bit like apple juice. From my experience with this brewery, they need to be a bit more generous with their hopping. timmyk77 (5), Overland Park, Kansas, USA does not count May 24, 2008 From a bottle. Pours a clear copper with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is malty, with a light hop presense. Flavor is mellow, slightly sweet up front with a light hop bitterness at the end. An ok beer. crazyvin (1093), New York, USA May 13, 2008 Orange-amber body with a half-inch thick white head which damn good retention. Aroma had a strong honey presence and a mild hop present. Flavor was very similar. I would have liked a little more hop bitterness to this beer but there was enough to balance out the honey notes. Good session beer. Full bodied though.
