Commercial Description:
This smooth rich dark southern German dobblebock is an Indian Wells Brewing Co. favorite. This 10.8% beer is powerful, but VERY easy to drink! This beer is not for the timid. A few of them and you’ll feel like you’ve had a frontal lobotomy the next day. Consume with caution!

Six pack from Whole Foods. Nice roasted flavor, but no aroma and a watery mouthfeel.

bottle thanks to bhensonb. poured a brown with ruby highlights and a nice beige head. aroma big time malt, slight dark roast and dark fruits with a touch of brown sugar. flavor is a malty watery mess. i never would of pegged this at 10.8% however.

I could not tell the difference between this and a cheap store brand cola (except for the alcohol) Looks and tastes about the same. Thin and watery on the palate. the carbonation appears fake with fat bubbles.

My friend was determined to find the cheapest beer with the most alcohol in it. At 10.8% and a 6 pack for $10, he succeeded. Pours a brownish red color that is murky and is topped with a light tan tiny little head. Nose of nuts, molasses, tin can, and caramel. Alcohol is unbelievably well hidden. Mouthfeel is on the watery side and finish is shorter.

Consume with caution indeed! This beers main achievement is that it turns a high-alcohol beer into something very very smooth. Almost silky. Otherwise very plain, almost light. If you just want a quick fix this will work, and it’s a heck of a lot better than steel reserve.

Poured a clear deep mahognay color with a beige head. The aroma was of chocolate and prunes with notes of tobacco. The flavor was light and dull with short dark fruits and short sweetness. Light body.
