Commercial Description:
This is the Indian Wells Brewing Co.’s #1 selling SEASONAL beer. This hoppy, caramel colored lager is truly a treat for lovers of German style lagers. Indian Wells Brewing Co. brews their Oktoberfest in April to prepare for the season.

Local bottle. Poured out a clear, light bronze colour with a short off-white head that disappeared VERY quickly. Decent aroma with some caramel malt. More malt in the flavour but also a strange funk at the finish. Average.

Sweet and spicy with a thin bready finish. Sampled from the bottle at a party, so I didn’t get a good look at the appearance.

Bought in Baker on my trip back from LA. Quick dissolving foam head. Malty aroma and first taste. Has some caramel and grainy characters. Pretty decent.

Caramel malt aroma. A little grainy. That Indian Wells aroma as well. Copper colored with a small white head. Caramel malt, bread, and a little crispness. Average, but I think it is better than some of their other offerings.

Thick & foamy white head. A below average Oktober. Nice malt character, decent balance, but just uneventful.
