bottle, thanks to Swalden28 for this keeper, golden brown color with great astringent hospital ICU aromas, flavor tends toward cardboard and dishtowels, finish is a bitter pill

This bottle had a lack luster pour with little head. It smelled so-so, and tasted about the same. the malt was the most obvious but i also tasted a slight hop finish. Overall this is a pretty average american dark lager

Bottle from Furnace Creek Ranch in Deatg Valley. Average across the board. Dusty caramel malt in the aroma and the flavour. A little hop bitterness in the finish.

quite an easy beer to drink, albeit not very exciting .. some dark caramel, and dusty chocolate ... clean aftertate .. simple, yet no real offenses .. thank you duffman for this freebie ... needs to be fuller to make it a talker but nice stuff for the style ..

bottle - Pours clear red with a one finger head and some lacing. It has a light caramel malt aroma and the flavor is sweet caramel malt and not much of anything else. There’s a light to medium body. This beer is simple and smooth.

Bottle, and on taps more recently at Bluesapolooza in Mammoth. Pours a copper amber hue with a tan head, pretty dark head for a pale. Lager-aroma is malty and spicy, with some diacytl going on. Unbalanced, watery, musty flavors-slightly sour and astringent. over-carbonated also. Not the best, thanks anyway.

(Vegas trip) A reddish color with little head. A mild malty aroma is present. The flavor is quite tame with just a hint of caramel in there. It is a bit watered downed. This beer isn’t bad.
