Pro: This beer is good if you can find it fresh. It has a very malty and refreshing sweet flavor.....Con: The problem with this beer is either the quality control or storage problem via shipping. The last 6 pack I got was really bad, and I had to dump it....Conclusion: It’s worth a try, but try it from the tap first.

Bottle. This stuff was odd. I’m not sure what to make of it other than the fact that it was sweet and malty. Blah.

12 oz bottle. Ya know, this really wasn’t so bad. It was very very very malty. The hoppy part of the equation left a lot to be desired, but isn’t that true with many of the top rated beers. It was very red. One of the redest beers I’ve had. No head and no lacing. The aromas were very sweet. Sugar cane and molassas. The flavors were very sweet as well. Fruity, caramel, and more sugar. I agree with the description about no bite. There is nothing biter or dry about this beer. Really not so bad.

Kerbeleeeccchhhh!!!! Somehow a train wreck occured in my beer, someone get hazmat to make sure none of this swill gets loose. This pours a clear copper color with a thin white head which disappeared quickly. No head, no lacing after the first fifteen seconds. The aroma is heavily banana and grapefruit...with this Vick’s smell as well..almost made me sick...not a good omen! The flavor was atrocious...a vominous mixture of grapefruit, banana, medicinal esters, cardboard and tart malts made for a dry, heavily sour and extremely unpleasant lager. Heavy carbonation, strong unpleasant banana aftertaste....absolutely intolerable beer! Cardboard...I can actually taste cardboard!!!!!

Thanks to Lord Gorlock for this brew!Mojave Red comes to the glass with a deep amber color and a long lasting sticky off white head. The aroma is heavy caramel with a hint of soapy sourness in the back. Malty sweet flavor with little or no hop aroma or flavor. Very unremarkable, but drinkable just the same.

Pours an amber color. Doesn’t look like a pale lager. Has a definite malty smell to it. Has a little bit of a hop flavor, not alot. It tastes good and is easy to sip on. It doesn’t seem like a pale lager, but for the style it is great. For being a beer it is average.
