Thought this was some pretty decent stuff. A strong caramel aroma, the flavor is a little thick with some caramel notes and malts. The finish almost seems to show more alcohol then is in this, but overall I found this quite nice. 3 out of 4 with these guys for me.

12 oz bottle. Ya know, this really wasn’t so bad. It was very very very malty. The hoppy part of the equation left a lot to be desired, but isn’t that true with many of the top rated beers. It was very red. One of the redest beers I’ve had. No head and no lacing. The aromas were very sweet. Sugar cane and molassas. The flavors were very sweet as well. Fruity, caramel, and more sugar. I agree with the description about no bite. There is nothing biter or dry about this beer. Really not so bad.

Bright reddish-brown. Rich caramel nose with light earthy hoppiness. Sweet, lots of earth and caramel. Well-made amber, a bit sweet but otherwise nicely done.

Reddish orange in color with a thick off white this pale lager has aromas more akin to a marzen. Some definite malt in the nose with the other prominant aroma being a smell I have only been able to call "time in the lagering tank" aroma. Flavor falls a bit short, however. Light malty flavor and that’s about all. Decent overall, wonderful for the style.

A light tasting dark lager. Mostly honey, caramel and syrupy malts. Average lager with some artificial taste to it. Finishes sweet and sticky. With a hint of nuttyness in the end.

Deep amber color. Clean lager appearance. active carbonation maintains a thin head. Malty sweet aroma. Bitter taste at the beginning, and then the flavor changes to sweet corn. what a shame. Its a smooth beer though.

Nice reddish pour with a decent head, enticing sweet malt aroma. Nice malt character, somewhat sweet but I would agree with the nutty overtones. Not real hoppy at all, but enough to finish well. Not bad at all, quite refreshing; I found this lager to be enjoyable enough to try again some hot summer day.

pours a lightly hazed orange w/minimal head and lace. decent aroma of toasted malts, with some light oxidation. flavor is decent-some subdued maltiness with a light hop tang. nothing exciting, but an ok beer-light bodied and easy to drink.
