Commercial Description:
The Jester has been a source of humor and a confidant of Royalty. Was he a fool, or was he wise enough to play one? Enjoy this Impish pale ale and ponder.

12 oz. bottle from jampics(BA). Pours a hazy amber color with a small white head. The aroma is citrus fruit, spices, and yeast with a touch of vegetables. The flavor was more Belgian like than American Pale. Fruity and yeasty qualities mixed with grainy malt, spices and citrus. This was a one time shot for this beer I think.

10/25/2009: Indigo Jester... Aroma: Floral hops and tropical fruits. Appearance: Hazy marigold color, minimal off-white crown. Flavor: Sweet oranges and citrus; fruity and spicy like a Belgian Wit. Palate: Medium-bodied with an oily/slick texture. Overall: An OK beer.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Thanks Brad! Rating #26 for this beer.

Bottle shared by alexsdad06. Poured cloudy amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of fruit, spices, slight vegetables, light yeast, and slight citrus. Poured a muddy orange/brown in color with no head at all. Cloudy. Sparkling. Some particles throughout. Flavor is light to medium sweet and slightly bitter. Tastes of yeast, fruit, spices, grains, citrus, hops, and hint of wood. Medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Fruit, yeast, grain, and slight wood finish is lightly dry. Flavor is a mixed up mess. Not really an APA in any way.

Bottled. Poured lifeless medium orange with no head. The aroma was sour and foul with notes of composted veggies, some sugary redder fruits, and a touch of orange.. yikes.. The flavor was a tad better.. more oranges, honey, and caramel gave grainy sweetness at the core.. fruit-tinged vinegar and funky sourness around.. cloying and tart on the finish. Light-medium bodied with low carbonation on the palate.. poor feel and flow. Something was wrong here.

Poured an orange hazy color with a head that was gone before I could sit down in my chair. Aroma is horrible....wtf is wrong with this aroma? Smells like sulpher and garbage. Flavor is not all that bad, not really clean, but lightly hopped and yeasty. Strage brew, but makes me wonder about infection with this aroma.

Hazy gold with a small white head and light lacing on the glass. Aroma of toast, toffee, yeast, and citrus fruits. Taste of grass, citrus fruits, yeast, caramel, and a hoppy finish.

Subtle hints of wheat and citrus. Almost a dirty brown water color unfortunately. I love the delicious flavor of this pale ale, but there is no hoppy flavor at all. It tastes more like a blonde than the bombshell does.
