The hops are earthy and spicy. Lively carbonation. A nicely balance, slightly too sweet weizen bock. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet. Ripe apricot flesh color with a 3-finger beige head. Aroma is primarily banana. Body is medium with frothy carbonation. Flavor is banana with caramel, and, I think, noble hop. Finish is Bavarian hefeweizen. Banana and wheat and just a touch of hop bitter. It’s a really good hefe. Ernest (4217), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bottle.
