Rciesla (3500), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2009 Bottle. Pours a copper body with a white head. Grainy dry with some caramel and lighter citrus notes. Crisp and unoffensive, yet bland and lame. Tick tick. jport4087 (73), Pennsylvania, USA Aug 6, 2009 From bottle. Nice florally aroma with a light citrus. Average beer. Good not great Birdiebeagle (777), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 28, 2009 Bottle Pours a copper with a decent diminishing white head. The lacing could have been better. Has a decent aroma of hops and some caramel malts. Has a good carbonation. The flavor was mild. An okay crispness with light hops and a decent mix of malts at the end. Mouthfeel is okay. Has a watery texture. The finish is okay and an alright aftertaste. Not a bad beer, pretty refreshing. NJBeerman013 (764), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Jul 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a light copper in color with a medium white head. Lightly floral aroma, some hops, some spice. Tasting notes were floral, zesty hops, light citrus notes, a light caramel malt note, and a tart tangy finish. This pale ale has a lighter than usual body making it a very good choice for the summer months. I really enjoyed it. Damico (162), Norristown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 11, 2009 This is the lightest pale ale I’ve ever had. There is almost no aroma and it is the very light color of a pilsener. The flavor is light, just the smallest bit of a bitter hops at the end. matthasson (59), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 11, 2009 A mediocre pale ale, that seems more interested in image then flavor. Initially there is some hop bitterness, but it exists quickly. The center is sweet, almost like green grapes or citrus. Feels a bit watery. Overall not a very memorable beer and far from tasting like paradise.
hanihotdog (14), blah, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2009 pollen level is high and my sniffer isnt working quite well... in the bottle it smelled hopy, however, in the glass it smells like carmel/malts with a hint of hops. Has a nice head and a dark amber color. This beer is dominated by the carmel flav. malts... really not my cup of tea. however, there is a little hop in there to add a little bitterness.. Final thought... not that copmlex, and really not what i would expect from a micro brew.. i think sam adams does a better job. JFGrind (1346), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 27, 2009 Not overly impressed by this Pale Ale. Little malt sweetness, little bit of hops and a good mesasure of "ho-hum" thrown in as well. Not sure if this is a contract brew or Lion Brewery thought it up all on their own.
