| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 25, 2008 Bottle from machfive55 I believe. Pours a copper/amber color with hardly any head. Aroma is malty, sweet but with a good nose of some spicy sweet hops. Flavor follows suit with more hops than I expected and a much better beer than I expected. Nice surprise. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2008 Just when I had given up on IBC, this one fell into my lap. It is copper, with nose of fresh hops, caramel malt, mild spicy esters. Tastes hoppy, malty, with medium palate heft and a decent complexity. This one was decent, and I would quaff it again any time. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a light copper in color with a medium white head. Lightly floral aroma, some hops, some spice. Tasting notes were floral, zesty hops, light citrus notes, a light caramel malt note, and a tart tangy finish. This pale ale has a lighter than usual body making it a very good choice for the summer months. I really enjoyed it. Birdiebeagle (807), Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA
