Dec 18, 2008 Half pint cask at Halfway House in Edinburgh. Creamy, ebony body. Some laceworks on the glass. Sweet malty smell. Caramel malts to the flavour with an aftertaste of cocoa bitterness. Smooth in the mouth [12.11.2008].

Nov 28, 2008 From cask at Cloisters. Pours clear and golden brown with an almost fully gone head. Mild butterish and roasted malty aroma. Flavour is bitter and slight fruity to the roasted malty backbone. Light fruityand bitter into the finish. Medium dry.

Nov 19, 2006 Aroma gives raw malt, biscuit at times toffee weak chocolate at times. Taste is similar though you can find the bittering hops and a bit floural also.
