(on bottle)A deep orange ale, with a sweet aroma of yeast and apple. The correct watery mouth for british brews and a light sour, fresh ending. Easy drinkable pale ale(at least thats what the label says)

Amber with a white fleeting head. Straw/grass, herb, hop aroma. Watery texture and light bodied. Flavor was unremarkable. Some at the tasting were waxing poetically about his beer but I fail to see the attraction.

Bottle pours golden, small white dishwater like head, nice lacing, but with very little carbonation.   A very subtle aroma of flora and charred wood.   The charred wood comes out in strength once it hits your tongue.   Very light malt profile.   Finishes a bit thin, with lingering ashtray notes.   While not a bad beer, its not all that impressive either.

Bottle (Ossian Ale): Clear medium amber hue with lasting frothy white head and good lace. The aroma has notes of pine, apple, orange zest, pale malts, and earthy yeast esters. The taste has a surprisingly mild bitterness with a citric twang background. Some malt and flowery undertones. The finish has a sublime smoky nature and a hint of spice with the lungering smooth bitters. The feel is lively and crisp but much too thin. This beer is really a summer refresher with the lighter body and crisp piney nature. Sum is better than the parts.

Light brown/gold little or no head, fine bubbles. Sweet pine, peach and slight citrus on the nose. Some roasted flavors, though light on palate, nice refreshing hop finish, also a nice nutty quality. Not bad at all.. though not really enough body..

Bottle. Much different from the pic. Slight red and gold color with a little head. SLight orange smell and little flowery. The light mouthfeel is complemented with the earthy undetones and some nutmeg. Just enough going on in the flavor to keep it interesting.

Foamy off-white head on a clear dark yellow body. Very hoppy and flowery aroma with a sweet toffee undertone - very nice and inviting. Flavor is sweet malty with a little smoke. Quite thin on the palate but still a nice beer.

Pale copper, small head. Flavour is earth hops, some malts, and a hint of smoke. A bit thin, with a dry finish. Nice, but nothing special.
