Great Golden Ale, from the north of Scotland , deep golden color, together with a compact white head, fresh fruity noise, well balanced beer with some great citrus notes. I have to say one of my favorite summer ales, we’ve also had it in 5 litre party cask very interesting.

Cant believe I havent rated this before, its one of my favourite bottled beers. Fairly widely available, this one came from Tesco Gala, good clean gold with a good thickish white head. Fresh fruity nose with malty notes in the background. Well balanced palate with a noticable citrus character. A cracking beer!

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR. Hazy golden color with a nice white head. Aromas of pale malt and fruity esters. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is bitter hop over grain and malt. It’s all about the bitter - which is not over the top, but quite bitter. I’d guess about 60 IBU or better. We’re not talking malty ESB here. It’s a very good ale.

Bottled 50cl. It pours a beautiful light amber beer with a nicely lasting white head. The nose is of grapefruit, hops and hay. The taste is mainly of hay, hops and caramel. Some orange marmelade and marmite showing up. Light bodied. Beautiful lacework. Good bitterness. Quite a bite to this beer. Hoppy finish. Rather nice.

Hazy golden yellow, thick white head leaving early rings. Floral fruity aroma, sweet. Clean grainy palate with fruity hop character, lemony, medium bitterness. Surprisingly creamy mouthfeel. Very nice.
