Sept, 2002 Gentle and juicy grapefruit flavour - a very refreshing and pleasant beer. [2.8]
Feb, 2008 500ml bottle - cold filtered - from Gretna Green. Good hop flavours, and a light, slightly buttery malt which balances the citric marmalade beautifully. A refreshing and zingy ale - packed with flavour at only 4.1%. [3.6]

Scotch aroma. Cloudy pale orange appearance with lace. Little head. Tasty scotch, touch of smoke, significant malty some hop

12/2001 Half of a gift set from the Inveralmond Brewery this is a pleasantly bitter ale. It actually reminds me of one our homebrew batches with a bit less hops (which is a good thing - the batch was far too bitter!) I enjoyed this one a lot. Very drinkable. Hopefully the other bottle in the set will be just as good.

This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized mostly lasting white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and light brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of grass and malt. Its mouth feel is initially thin and slightly flat. Its flavor contained mild malty hoppy notes. A very average brew.

Bottle in CA. Pours a golden amber body with an off white head. Moderate malt profile with some light caramel and burnt malts. A light nuttiness and thin hoppiness. Thin body with no alcohol

My undated bottle poured with a very high degree of sediment which leads me to believe it may have been a the shelf a bit long. All the same, this was an enjoyable quaff ... big-bodied sweet malty beer with a distinct tone of peat, light smoke and raisins. Different.

(Bottled) Slightly hazy golden-orange with a medium, lacy head. Lime-wheaty, aromatic-lemony-hoppy, quite fresh nose. Citrus-fruity, honey-malty, aromatic-nutty-hoppy and moderately bitter flavor with a dryish, bitter-lemony finish. Light to medium-bodied, slightly fizzy-carbonated palate. Not as refreshing as one would think. A quite pleasant brew overall with such a low ABV, and lots of hops. A bit rough on the edges, as the body can only barely take this much hop bitterness.

Gold color with no head. Grains, grains, grains... and more grains. No hop, no malt, just a grain silo of dust.
