500 ml bottle, bought at Lørenskog Brus-Shop. ABV is 4.1%. Golden colour, decent white head. Lovely aroma of fruity and floral hops, notes of honey. The flavour has distinct hops throughout, with grapefruity and nutty notes. Refreshing and moreish. Plenty of hoppy bitterness in the long aftertaste.

Bitter. but still better than the regulary english pissy cask ales. However still not worth wasting money on!

Think the Scotish brewers who bought us this very pleasant pale ale might be concerned at it being described as an english pale ale. A winner of several awards including the champion beer of Scotland in 2001 this is a full bodied amber ale with an underlying fruitiness. Quite full bodied and with more depth than you would normally expect in a 4.1 per center. Highly recommended.

(bottle - 500 ml) Light gold in color with a fizzy white head. A decent amount of citrus and malt in the aroma with a mild floral and peppery hop hint. Flavor is spicy and citrusy at the beginning with a mild malt middle and a lightly bitter and peppery hop finish. A bit cloying but rather drinkable.

500 ml bottle. Fully lasting, huge fluffy offwhite head. Deep yellow-golden color. Light malty and strong grassy hop aroma. Notes of dough and bread. Taste has a nice floral-fruity bitterness and fine, light sweet malt base. Well-bodied considering the alcohol strenght. Fresh bitterness in the finish. Likable.

Bottle purchased at Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon--Poured a bright golden-copper hue with a thick white head. Lemony, crisp, biscuit nose. Rich, full mouthfeel with a creamy, caramel UK flavor. Citrus hops and bready malts. Session-worthy and very clean in the end. Very nice.
