Bottle: Bronze color with a small lid of beige bubbles. Earthy malt and light grass with a touch of toffee in the background. Seems to have a lightly peat flavor mixing with a wild honey flavor. An interesting ale, yet nothing beyond ordinary.

Pours yellow with not much head. Aroma of biscuity malt and some fruit. Nice clean bitter taste with a touch of fruit sweetness. Quite refreshing. A pint of this on a hot day would be good.

500 ml bottle from my friend in Aberdeen! Nose is nice flowery hops and light grassiness. Lightly hazy yellow with a medium, pale yellow head. Flavor is lightly sweet corn with a slight buttery hint.

Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a small head, nice lace, and a faint peaty sweet & floral aroma. Tastes like a blonde ale - somewhat fruity, with faint neutral bittering hops and some citrus (cascade) and floral notes. Faint almond & white vinegar taste. Lightly creamy body, sub-par carb. This would be excellent with a chilli or another spicy food, but on its own it doesn’t really stand-up. It’s too fruity to be a traditional bitter, but lacks the proper yeast to be a blonde. Ossian reminds me of the Italian "ossia", which means "or". This is either a bitter OR a blonde, OR possibly neither.

Light, hazy bronze colour; malty, toasty palate with notes of both cocoa and coffee.

Light amber, coppery body. Sugary, slightly caramel aroma. Smokey initial malt flavor, somewhat malty body with notes of caramel that quickly disappear into a thin, watery finish. Smokiness is nice but this needs a lot more flavor overall.

Light copper color. Nose is bready and nutty. Flavor is biscuity, toasty, buttery, and nutty, but taste dies quickly, not much finish. A bit astringent, bottle may have been somewhat oxidized.
