This fantastic blond bitter boasts a bustling osmosis of honey-smeared biscuits and sharp citrusy, floral hoppiness. Drier and thus perhaps more bitter than its cask-conditioned brother, this easy drinking pint is sure to please the thirsty hop lover.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-Sumptuous foam garnishes the clear blond.
-Sweet maltiness bounces from honey to caramel, and back.
-Obviously, the expansive, big-bubbled carbonation doesn’t try to emulate the cask feel.
-The wooden, leafy hop finish lingers ad vitam eternam.

One of the first PA’s I had and it really hit something heartly. I thought it was an IPA with all those cascade hops, buts it’s just a bitter. Otherwise I still think it’s a nice brew with a good balance. larsga (2980), Oslo, Norway

Fruity floral hoppy elderberry aroma with dusty pea notes. Dry-sweetish dusty floral wooden fruity taste with citric elderberry notes. Harmonic. Soft and mild mouthfeel. Lightish body. Dry resiny hay and flowers aftertaste. Extremely drinkable. A lovely beer. (0.5l bottle, Lørenskog brusshop, Oslo.) TET (242), Finland
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2008 Slightly cloudy golden beer with medium white head. Aroma is fruity and very temptating and reminds me for Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Lot of hops is found in the flavour and taste is fruity and pleasant but changes slightly musty in the end. Easy to drink but nicely balanced. Cascade hops -lovers beer with fruity aromas and flavours. hotstuff (3176), Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2004 Bottle. Poured a small off-white head, sparse lacing, fast rising carbonation, transparent, and an orange hue. Malty, hoppy, orange, apple, and sweet aroma. Flavor was sweet, lightly bitter, maltiness, and mild hops. Mouthfeel was lively and a little thin. Medium bodied beer. Worth a try. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2007 Strong fruitiness, some doughy malt character and plenty of orange citrus with some mild butterscotch in the nose. Slightly hazy golden body is topped by a decent and very long lasting white head that leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Mild nutty sweetness underscores the honeyed malt character with some toastiness. Orange zest and floral hops offer a counterpoint and provide a fairly crisp bitterness. Medium body with soft bubbled, gentle carbonation that lasts throughout and awakens the tongue. A reasonable approximation of cask ale in a bottle even if it is pasteurized. Very nicely made. Tulip glass. Cellar temperature. Bottle (Best Before Jul-08, Brewery Creek, May-07). radiomgb (2058), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
