Deep amber, healthy frothy head. Hoppy aroma, accompanied by sweet caramelly malts. Slightly watery palate, but not too thin. Taste has a deep bitter base that builds up with every sip. Slightly sacchariny - both sweet and bitter sides. Also a grainy component. Doesn’t quite do it for me, I think I had a better version a few years back.
mjs (391), Finland May 11, 2008 (Cask at Punavuoren Ahven on 2008-04-19) Clear and light yellow. Hardly any head. Malts and hops in nose. Medium palate. Nice malty taste with some yeast and hops. Some nut flavours. mirjukka (206), LOHJA, Finland Apr 27, 2008 Updated: Jun 15, 2008cask at Gallows Bird Espoo 240408
