Bottled. A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of chocolate, but also a hint of acidity. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt and chocolate - I thin it is off.

Bottled. Black with dense beige head. Light coffee aroma. Medium dry with a soft, near velvetty, malt character.The finish has more coffee than bitterness. An enjoyable mild stout.

From bottle, 5B Papsoes New Zealand vs US blind tasting. Pours dark brown and hazy to murky with a fully diminished tan head. Roasted malt with a mild chocolate note. Sourish fruity flavour. Mild roasted note and more of that horrible sourish flavour. Ends strange fruity acidic.

Bottle. Black coloured with a medium sized beige head. Acidic and liight roasted aroma of berries and coffee. Acidic flavour of coffee, berries and liquorice. Tart finish.

Quite a thickish black colour. Pretty sweet. Too sweet for me, still, some nice roasty coffee flavours pop out every now and then, which is expected i guess. Some mollasses in the finish. Relatively uncomplex i think.
