Commercial Description:
Our award-winning stout is rich and malty with hints of chocolate and coffee. It’s what espresso would be if it had the gumption to be beer. Makes a great dessert...or meal.

A deep dark stout with a thick moka head. In aroma, a nice sweet milk chocolate bar, with light British hops. In mouth, a hoppy stout with bitter chocolate, intense English hops, herbal. Rich and smooth bodied. Tasted Nov. 21 2009, with MartinT. Merci Martin!

13th August 2008. Opaque black beer, no head., only a little carbonation. Silky smoothness, presumably from the oatmeal. Medium toasted malt and with a bitterish coffee finish. The silky palate keeps the score up on this one.

Wow! I bought a six pack of this on a whim without reading any reviews. What an incredible beer! This pours pitch black into a pint glass with what is perhaps the darkest colored head I’ve experienced to date. The aroma is instant chocolate and coffe and some big hearty malt scents. Mmmmm. The flavor is much like the aroma with a chocolate flavour being the most dominant. This is a full, heavy stout that just feels good in the mouth. Very smooth and creamy. Overall, I was very, very impressed with this oatmeal stout. I wish it was easier to find. Highly recommended to anyone who likes stouts. Awesome!
