Cletus (5001), Connecticut, USA Dec 27, 2006 Updated: Jul 6, 2007Funky shaped aluminum bottle courtesy of hopdog. Pours gold with a sustained white creamy head. Smells of citrus, nuts, apples, grapes. Tastes of nutty malt with some underlying corn starch sweetness. Finishes lightly peppery and nutty. One of the more flavorful pale lagers I’ve tried over the years. ExSpectator (65), Cleveland, Ohio, USA Dec 24, 2006 Updated: Sep 20, 200712 oz aluminum bottle. Golden yellow pour with small white head. Aroma is faint, flavor is better than your typical large commercial brewer stuff, but weak for a smaller brewery. Good deal for the price though. coldbrewky (716), Saugerties, New York, USA Dec 11, 2006 Let’s just say that the old "You can’t keep an iron man down" says alot. Pennsyltucky proud to say that I have consumed my fair share of this while getting the degrees in western PA. You haven’t suffered unless you have had an iron man hangover. Swill that is very close to my heart. thehurt01 (201), Denver, Colorado, USA Dec 8, 2006 A 12 oz aluminum bottle with no made on or freshness date. The body poured a golden yellow with a small white head that disappared very quickley. The smell is faint an of grain. Taste is weak and not very tasteful, carbonation is good had goes down easy.
A every day drinker that is not rich in taste but is easy to drink on a hot day or to just get drunk. cjw163 (108), hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 4, 2006 12 oz aluminum bottle... clear yellow. you have to be from the ’burgh to enjoy this... LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 28, 2006 Being from Pittsburgh, this beer scores higher for that reason. I can’t be un-bias when I say this is the best pale lager around (not that that says alot). This is a blue collar beer that tastes great in quantity while saying "yinz" and "dahntahn". SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Nov 14, 2006 this was juice’s beer, that and colt45.....i don’t really get the alum bottles, metal taste everynow and again...is smooth and crisp and refreshing, like all lagers should be... detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA Nov 12, 2006 Clear yellow gold beer with white foamy suds and lots of carbonation. Mildly sweet aroma. Sweet flavor of Halloween candy corn and a bite from the carbonation. The tiniest hop bitterness in the end. Very light body.
