Iron City Beer

12oz alluminum bottle given to me by fatty (gee, thanks!). Poured a light and see through golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas and tastes of corn and grain. Light metallic finish. This one had Dan Marino on the back (I hope they paid him a lot to ’endorse’ this one).

Nice production lager. More flavor than Miller Lite without the bitter edge of Budweiser. Would be an excellent beer on a hot day.

Aluminum Bottle. I had this at a friend’s super bowl party. This was the Pittsburgh beer versus the Seattle beer. Needless to say, the beer battle went the opposite direction of the football game. Pretty much same taste as all macros.

Canette de 355 ml acheté à la LCBO (Toronto, ONT). Arôme: Odeur de malt et de maïs. Apparence: La couleur est blonde orangée avec une forte densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût fruité. Courte durée de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Faible effervescence en bouche. Cool aluminum bottle. Pale honey in color w/ very little froth. Aroma of burnt corn. Tastes like sweet malted burnt corn.

Aluminum bottle into a Snifter. Smells of barely nothing except for a light honey touch somewhere in there. The taste is very stale taste of the nose with corn, pale hops, and honey. Its just like every other horrible American lager, boring, not tasty, and bland! Thanks to Larry who brought it in for us though.

Yellow color and foamy. Smell of malt and corn. Taste of minor hops and malt with a harsh bitterness. A little skunky at the end also.

Came in one of those bottle-cans. Very clear and yellow. Almost no head at all. Very uninteresting with very little hop character and some grain character, but not a malty flavor. This is one of those beers that fits very well into the "domestic american lager" category.
