Nov 24, 2005 Pour is lively golden yellow with a tight dense off white head...smell is sour and grainy...taste is skunky...thin bodied...I can’t wait for the IC Light which is on deck!

Nov 8, 2005 12 oz alluminum bottle. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white fading head. Aroma has a hint of wheat to it. Taste is very plain and watery. A typical lager.

Nov 8, 2005 ok... now iron city isn’t the greatest beer on the market... but it’s iron city and u gotta luv that... it’s the beer of Pittsburgh and we support our beer... plus it goes down better than bud’s and miller’s..

Nov 3, 2005 Can w/ bottle shape. Plain, regular beer taste. Not much unlike most of the other pale lager type beers out there.

Oct 27, 2005 Plane sweetness in the nose, touch of alcohol. Medium bodied, sweet but shallow malt, slightly acidic, alcoholic medium. Short finish. Very simplistic lager, with noticeable alcohol which is strange for such weak brew.

Oct 25, 2005 Very pale yellow with a very small head. The body was filled with grain and a slightly sweet aroma. Not much to see here, move on..

Oct 23, 2005 I had never heard of this brewery. I’m not sure how representative the Iron City Beer is of the brewery, but this was certainly not an impressive beer at all. *sigh* pale lagers still suck. Although it looks like this brewery does have a pale lager in the 95th percentile of its style. I’ll be on the lookout for more Iron City lagers in the future.
