Aroma is malt with some hops. Appearance is golden with a thin head. Flavor is sweet and bitter with some corn. Palate is better than average for a lager. No complexity, but not bad. Smells like fresh cut grass thats a little wet and sticks to your sneakers. Flavor is bad, kind of like the wet grass it smelled like. piscator34 (1121), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 31, 2005 Gold on colour with medium carbonation and a fast head. Some malty aromas to this one, along with a touch of corn. Fairly malty in flavor as well, with some faint notes of caramel and earthy hops. It’s basically a half-step up from your typical North American macro, but nothing worth celebrating. Cool aluminum bottle though. Thanks to radiomgb for the interesting extra. asheft (1383), Marburg, Germany

Nice, bright gold colour with some white wisps and a ring of fine bubbles. The aroma is a light, crisp noble hops with very little malt and a hint of metal can. The flavour is very clean and pleasant, but really not very existant. I would probably really enjoy this beer if it were a lot less watery. What little flavour exists just disappears at the end of the sample. Also, there should be a little more bitterness. Light body and medium carbonation. HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 24, 2005 (Aluminum Bottle) Tastes very much like my dads beer 25 years ago. I like the bottle/can. Nothing great, but drinkable. CapFlu (3481), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Pours a highly carbonated, deep golden body with a quick dissipating, white head. Nose is full-on TIN - like the bottle. A very syrupy sweet and corn flavour. Finishes somewhat clean. The nose is such a turn-off though... can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Aug 21, 2005 The benefit of having a pale lager in an aluminum bottle is that you know it’s not going to be a skunky pale lager. This one is alright, keep it as cold as possible and don’t pour it out. If it warms, you get more of that bad corny flavour and if you pour it out you would imediately be disappointed by the weak colour and flavour. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 16, 2005 Aluminum bottle. White small head that mostly dissipated, fine-medium sized bubbles, fair lacing, transparent, carbonated, and a yellow hue. Corn aroma and a somewhat sweet malt flavor that wasn’t all that great. Tingly mouthfeel and light body. Uninteresting.
