Beer was straw colored. Very thin with no body whatsoever. Tasted somewhat of rice. Very little bitterness. This beer may be missing a few key elements. Like, say, hops and barley. It's like drinking bad alcoholic tapwater. I remember trying this both on tap and in bottles a year or so ago and thinking that it wasn't half bad for the price. It's gone way downhill since then and I would be embarrassed to be seen drinking this weak, girly swill - let alone brewing it. My wife brought home a 6 pack and I ended up dumping several bottles down the drain. I doubt that there are even enough hops and barley in this bottle to qualify as a beer. Maybe it's really sake, what with all of the rice. But the label is misleading because this is not beer. pkbites (327), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Nice color; deep yellow. Not dark or orange, but not watery yellow.
Fair aroma. Lots of flavor, bold, but not overall good. That is to say, it's not watered down, I'm just not overly found of the taste. Kind of a funny- malty/stale yeast taste.
I'm so used to American beer being watered down, then I find one that ain't and I don't really like it. But I don't exactly hate it either. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Mar 21, 2004 This was do-able for a mass produced lager. Nothing offensive in the taste. Pretty clean and straight foward just nothing in the taste dept. I could see this for a night of swilling, if thats the goal haddon90 (1035), Alexandria, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Mar 15, 2004 On tap at TGI Friday's at Pittsburgh International Airport. Clear golden color with little or no head. Light aroma. Crisp, watered down, typical American Standard. Nothing overly special about this beer. TheOrange (405), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Mar 15, 2004 Flavor starts out good, but has a fairly watery finish. I like my American Standards to be more crip then this was crisp. But my biggest knock on this beer is it's high carbonation. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Feb 29, 2004 haha the can says it all with this beer- bland, not very good, beer. if you could find a beer in a can that was white with black letters that said nothing but "beer" this would be that beer. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 1, 2004 I guess you could say that this is toward the upper end of the mass produced crap that's out there (Bud, Miller, etc.). It's drinkable, but by far nothing special. If you're going to drink this, you might as well go for the IC Light - it tastes about the same & has less calories and less carbs.
