Mild malty aroma with a good initial malt taste. A bit watery but good and smooth to drink. Folks, people complain about it, but you cannot beat this beer. This was brewed for German steel workers. It may taste odd, but it is an acquired taste. Give it a chance. sdfink (30), Aiken, South Carolina, USA

The aroma is very mild with malty and doughy notes while the mouthfeel is crisp clean and mildly tingly from start to a lingering tingle in the finish. The flavor is that of a mild malt hop with a bit more body that some American Standards. Probiere (992), Iowa, USA

Anyways, this beer is not quite repulsive, but the joke around my town is that it's that good Pittsburgh water that makes it taste SO good. If you're out for a night in western PA and this stuff is cheaper than Bud, you can't go wrong. Then again, if you're out for the night and drinking Bud, you're already pretty far in the wrong. So, on balance, the price of this beer is its own recommendation. If you drink macrolager in the first place, this is an economical place to start. Kalli (476), Falun, Sweden

Nothing special otherwise, just another average looing lager. Aroma reminds me of hops mixed with detergent. Not pleasant tasting really, but not nearly as watery as I expected. Not that I it had my thinking malt or hops...
Taste is strangely stale. No ingredient list on the can, but I'm guessing lots of corn and by now I'm smelling it too. rkearney (35), Amherst, New York, USA

The aroma is very sweet. It has lots of fizz. The overall taste of the beer isn't bad, though. It isn't foul like Budweiser or Coors. Good beer for a long hot summer day while cutting grass.
