Aroma doesn’t really standout much. Color is golden with a decent head while pouring. Better than Bud by far. bhensonb (4242), Woodland, California, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 13, 2008 Bottle. Not much aroma, just a bit of malt. Golden color with a decent white head. Thin bodied with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is rather clean malt and light hop. The finish is not quite dry, and just a little bitter. Arguably better than Bud. | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 8, 2008 Poured from a can. Poured a clear gold color with a thin white head. Light, grainy aroma. Mild malty flavor that led to an obvious metallic taste. Hard to drink because of the metallic overtones. I like cheap beer, but didn’t like this one. UofFkid (108), Orlando, Florida, USA

Quickly had to grab a beer I brought to wash this swill down. Very thin, lacking much taste. Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

Thin with a mild fizzy white head. Crisp and wavering, but with some hops presence. Diacytol yet refreshing overall. Nothing to write home about, but way better than the usual suspects in the shitty mainstream beer world. RSRIZZO (1362), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 26, 2007 Had this beer on 12/29/2005. Aroma is a light malt scent. Color is a bright gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is light and smooth. Starting with a light body it goes down easy with a smooth feel. Finish is a light malt flavor backed by a faint bitterness and hop flavor. Reminds me a bit of Miller High Life. Not bad for a Pale Lager.

All the PA expats gather around and sing the virtues of Iron City beer. Yuk .. kinda has the same crappy taste you see in Rolling Rock yet for some strange reason there is a subset of humans who like it. Might be better if I dissolved some Crystal Light in there.
