Wispish white head, quickly fades to a ring. Mouthfeel is water, fizzy water. No flavor to speak of. How does one produce this effect?? To make something this damn bland requires effort. tjthresh (1778), Greenfield, Indiana, USA

Had a caramelly flavor that I thought was actually a nice change for pale lager. If you are swilling. Iron City will do in a pinch. Has sort of a cult following for the transplanted Pittsburgers here in KC. I’d choose it over some. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Basically it was less offensive. You can drink it, and you can finish the 40, but it’ won’t be fun. 21iceman40 (1731), vienna, West Virginia, USA

This one does not have the customary aluminum, watered down taste like most all american working man’s beers. I’m drining this next time i build a deck. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jul 21, 2005 Well done aluminum bottle. Pours with an abundant head. Nice sparkling golden appearance. Aroma is not pleasant. Corn and hopless. While no flaws were apparent. It seems like a lot of work for something mediocre at best. If you have the brewing equipment and the malts available and it’s not going to cost any more and it may increase your potential market, why not cut out the corn and adjuncts and do something interesting like adding a touch of wheat, or Saison du Pont yeast? ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
