Poured from the metal bottle, it’s a deep yellow color with a rapidly vanishing head. Coupled with the lack of carbonation, this stuff has the presentation of a 1st-class, 40-oz, brown bottled-malt liquor. It smells like rotting corn and rusted cans. Sadly, it tastes worse. And for those of you who enjoy such things, it has a metallic finish that leaves your tongue burning. Enjoy! JPDIPSO (4929), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 23, 2004 Dark straw color with a fizzy big bubbled head that diminishes quickly. Industrial aroma. Corn and resin initially in the nose, but malt is detected with a full sniff. Some sweet malt and mild dry grassy hops. A touch over carbonated and slightwatery flavor. Actually better than I remember Iron Chitty. Tmoney99 (4778), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

This one always seemed to have a metallic taste, but it was still head and shoulders above BMC shit. Lubiere (4550), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 3, 2005 Bottle can at LCBO. Pale yellow lager with collapsable head. Sweet vcorn and rotten eggs in aroma, like Pittsburg smokestacks. Light malted mineral water, just as refreshing (considering the temp.). Ernest (4501), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 12, 2003 Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (bread, toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs), hint of DMS. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Well kiss my grits...I do believe they actually put barley in this! Not fizzy, almost no DMS stench, decent malt base, reasonably clean, and enough bitterness to make it drinkable. I dare say this is underrated.
