| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Aug 25, 2003 Clear, bubbly, golden colored body with a thin, white head. The head dissipates rather quickly, leaving just a bit of foam around the edges. The aroma is sweet, corny, and grainy with no hop presence. It has a light body with crisp carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. The flavor is corn sweet rather than malty sweet. The finish is crisp and mildly sweet. No off flavors, just a corny sweetness. Not bad, easily drinkable and actually a bit refreshing. mmmbeer (765), Austin, Texas, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 13, 2007 In a 12 oz Aluminum bottle (take the worst qualities of a can and make it into a bottle- brilliant)- poured thin transparent yellow, no head. Aroma, barely any, of malt. 1st sip made me think it was Budweiser- noticeable "wannabe" malt taste, no finish, goes down like water. Bad misuse of water... beerslayer (753), New Jersey, USA

I would be afaid to try the light beer. I’m still a Steeler fan though. BrockLanders (750), Panama City, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 4, 2005 Thanks Mike for sending this. I’ve come close to buying it at the Class VI store on base a few times but didn’t have the guts. What a surprise to find an aluminum bottle of this tucked neatly "along for the ride" in with the Dark Lord, Cuvee de Tomme, and Bells Batch 5000. Pours a translucent straw colored body with small-medium white head. Aroma is light, bready, grassy. Taste is the same, and acutally hints that some genuine barley went into this....what a pleasant surprise. Very lightly carbonated....another surprise. This actually had some nice bitterness in the finish. While it’s still a barely average lager, you could do far far worse. Thanks Mike!

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 1, 2004 I guess you could say that this is toward the upper end of the mass produced crap that's out there (Bud, Miller, etc.). It's drinkable, but by far nothing special. If you're going to drink this, you might as well go for the IC Light - it tastes about the same & has less calories and less carbs. coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 11, 2006 Let’s just say that the old "You can’t keep an iron man down" says alot. Pennsyltucky proud to say that I have consumed my fair share of this while getting the degrees in western PA. You haven’t suffered unless you have had an iron man hangover. Swill that is very close to my heart. deyholla (735), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Bottle. Poured a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is bland, some malts and hops. Flavor disappoints like the aroma, not much here. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 29, 2008 This gold pour was a little heavier then its lighter counterpart. I actually thought the IC light was a little better but this was more flavorful.
