Golden color with a white head that fades away. Slight hops in the aroma. Moderately sweet flavor with a hint of corn Another hint of hops in the finish. Drinkable and an alternative to the big guys.

The 12 ounce bottle poured a crystal clear golden straw colored beverage with a small fizzy white head that was completely gone in 60 seconds and left no lacing on the glass. The aroma was somewhat complex and clean. It presented bread dough, notes of banana and straw with a hint of hops in the background. The body was light and refreshing with lively carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started off lightly sweet with hints of banana. The finish is rather short. The sweetness lingers through the finish with no crispness or bitter aftertaste. Not as bad as I was led to believe.

Aluminum bottle into a Snifter. Smells of barely nothing except for a light honey touch somewhere in there. The taste is very stale taste of the nose with corn, pale hops, and honey. Its just like every other horrible American lager, boring, not tasty, and bland! Thanks to Larry who brought it in for us though.

Both aluminum bottle and glass bottle. Pours piss yellow with small white head. Smells like grain malt and a ltlle skunky. Tastes la little malty and grainy, with very little hops. Sweet and crispy. Not very good

In my opinion this is one of the best mass produced American beers. It does not come close to holding it’s own against a good craft brew or a specialty beer but it sure beats Bud or Miller.

Not to bad for the price. 140yrs of brewing is very impressive.

Gains points for being my first beer ever. Loses points for being crap. Gains points again for the cool retro cans and entertaining commercials. Loses them again for being crap. And so on.

This is a decent lager, kind of light and barleyish - kind of tastes crisp and refreshing, actually. It’s of course not great, but it *is* underrated. From Pennsylvania! My dad’s friend brought it down.
