Nothing special otherwise, just another average looing lager. Aroma reminds me of hops mixed with detergent. Not pleasant tasting really, but not nearly as watery as I expected. Not that I it had my thinking malt or hops...
Taste is strangely stale. No ingredient list on the can, but I'm guessing lots of corn and by now I'm smelling it too. Gunshy (479), Ohio, USA

I find it to be no better than the other smaller macrobrews like Rolling Rock. But the cult following of this is amazing. I went to a party in college and all the people who lived there were Iron City drinkers. We were all drinking the usual keg swill and they were walking around with bottles of Iron City. Went upstairs and they had filled the bathtub with ice and filled it with Iron City.

Not much on taste and uniqueness. The head disappeared with no lacing. The beer is watery and not very good. Trooper11 (467), Suffolk, Virginia, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 3, 2007 The bottle says "Premium Lager", that with the 4% rating I am overcome with anticipation of what’s to come.....here goes. Small foamy white head leaves a bit of lacing atop this crystal clear yellow brew bubbling with goodness. Aroma is musky maltiness like ripe grapes. A bit peppery, kind of watery, medium bodied, not as malty as IC Light, but underlying malt is apparent. Notes of light fruit with peppery burn on the back of the throat. Good beer to serve to persuade an uninvited guess that he has overstayed his welcome. spkldhenlvr24 (466), Newburgh/Buffalo, New York, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jan 3, 2005 12oz. bottle. Clear yellow(straw colored), bubbly body. Thin, white, quick head. Sweet, yeasty, skunky, grass aroma. Malty, bland, grassy flavor. Not a real great taste. Slight harsh, soapy aftertaste. Eeehhhh. Collint (465), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Bottle, pours a clear beer with pretty much no head. Aroma is grassy malt and no hops. Flavor is clean malty light grass taste. Light bitter finish, a great session beer! Jedsbrew (465), Rhineland, Missouri, USA

Poured medium gold in color with a mild malty grainy aroma and faint hoppiness. Light bodied, some maltiness and crisp in the finish, it’s a fresh batch anyways. Pretty average for the style, compared favorably taste wise with the big brands and generally a lot cheaper, although the new packaging was a bit more than the regular bottles. What the heck, give it a try, you can always use ’em for little bowling pins. Gromit (463), Port Orchard, Washington, USA
